Applicants must have a relevant degree and teaching qualification as well as a minimum of two years’ qualified teaching experience in an international context and/or a Swiss Primary School in either French or German.

Arabic A Teacher for native speakers

​The Arabic A teacher is responsible for delivering the language acquisition course from Pre-KG to Grade 6, offering the best possible linguistic and academic educational experience to native Arabic students and to students with Arabic as another language.

FLE (Français langue étrangère) Teacher

The role of the FLE (Français langue étrangère) Teacher is to deliver the language acquisition course to improve reading, writing and speaking skills to students with French as a second language within the IB Primary Years (PYP) framework, offering the best possible linguistic and academic educational experience.

Head of Arabic

The role of the Head of the Arabic department is to provide high quality teaching and learning, as well as leading the team in implementing strong and creative pedagogies to ensure that high standards of Arabic are achieved and that the IB related skills of research, enquiry and critical thinking are embedded within the curriculum.

IB Primary Years Teacher - German native speaker

The role of the IB Primary Years Teacher (Grade 1 – 6) is essentially to build and maintain a successful Primary Years Programme (PYP) within the school by providing an educational atmosphere conductive to learning and developing through the process of inquiry.

Senior ICT Officer

The successful candidate must be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with responsibility for the maintenance as well as the day to day running of the helpdesk. He/she should have strong understanding of Hardware/Software and will be part of a small team in a busy environment within a supportive school community.

Accounting Team Lead

The Accounting Team Lead works in a small senior accounting team reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations. He/She is tasked with the responsibility of managing the accounts department. This includes managing the finance team and ensuring accurate month end close, account reconciliation, FP&A, Budgeting, and sharing accounting workload.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide smooth and effective teaching in the absence of the contracted employee on an ad hoc basis.

Parent Relations Executive

The Parent Relations Executive (PRE) works as a liaison between SISD and its parent body. With good understanding of SISD’s systems, the PRE helps assist and expedite the needs and requests of families of the school. The PRE should conduct him/herself in an appropriate professional manner at all times to support and foster the aims and ethos of SISD.

Head of Boys' Boarding House

The Head of Boys’ Boarding House will establish, develop and model a Boarding House ethos that is consistent with SISD’s values.This role is unique in that the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the introduction of boarding in the first phase.
