Grade 2 parents were invited to a Peace and Wellbeing workshop, hosted by our Grade 2 students this week. They enjoyed some yoga, mindful colouring, meditation, reading for relaxation, arts and craft, mindful breathing; all planned and facilitated by our Grade 2 students.

Our first full-length music and drama performance this week at SISD! Our Secondary students had the opportunity to tread the boards in the deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors, that has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Well done to all the cast and the team who supported us in this production. More photos of the show can be found through the link in our bio.

‘From the ordinary to the extraordinary’! Grade 7 students have been creating imaginative sculptures of shoes with a theme, ranging from nature to sports and holiday seasons, as part of their latest art project. They have designed and produced the sculpture with ordinary materials, using their creativity and problem-solving skills to come up with their final piece, some extraordinary artwork.

As part of #OpportunityHour, Grade 9 students have been helping Grade 1 and 2 students with German language support needs. Grade 9 students have generously offered an hour of their lunch time to help our students who can benefit from additional exposure to German vocabulary. Grade 1 and 2 students enjoy the extra attention from the older peers immensely!
There is only one rule: Nur Deutsch sprechen!
