I joined SISD in 2021 as the secondary digital design teacher. I am extremely passionate about engaging children with innovative, inquiry-based learning and helping them develop skills to become 21st century ready workforce. I have leadership experience of STEAM, Innovation and Computer Science subjects, most of which were at an Outstanding school here in Dubai. I am the first winner in the GCC of GESS’s “Best use of STEAM learning in the classroom”, an award that reflects my keenness of teaching students through inquiry how to solve world problems using innovative, critical-thinking and problem solving skills.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming and cycling with my family.
My reason for joining SISD is the opportunity to work with staff and students who use inquiry as a driving force within their teaching and learning resulting in pupils coming up with inventions that can help us lead sustainable lives and hopefully solve world problems.
