Aine Staunton

I am a Math’s Specialist with over 15 years’ experience teaching to all levels both in Ireland and the UK. I  obtained an BSc Honors degree in Mathematics’ from the University of Limerick in 2002. Ireland’s leading University for Mathematics’ and Engineering. Over my Teaching Career I am proud to say that many of my students have been recognized for achieving top results nationally in State exams.

As a Teacher my vision is to empower pupils to express creativity and thrive in their own unique learning style, and for pupils to fully embrace ideas and challenges with a vision of excellence.

I am enormously excited to begin working in SISD, the facilities provide me with a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generations of entrepreneur’s adept in shaping a better future where pupils become responsible and active members of society.

I enjoy Sport & Physical activity and would describe myself as an active person I love hiking in the outdoors and Yoga. I have recently retired from semiprofessional rugby and elite level basketball both in Ireland and the UK. I am also very interested in music and enjoy playing the piano and reading.
