I am a Canadian citizen, born and raised in Lebanon where I discovered my passion for education and started my career. I studied Educational Psychology which helped me understand the importance of reaching every student in the classroom. Following the completion of my degree, I joined IC – International College – and fell in love even more with teaching and I understood the importance of differentiation. I was then granted a great opportunity to move to Northern Ireland where I obtained my Master’s degree in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs. I then moved to Montréal where I worked for a year at Collège Stanislas. Being a teacher in both Lebanon and Canada has been an extremely rewarding experience and I can’t wait to pursue this journey at SISD. Seeing children discover new things, learn, and grow is my daily inspiration and I consider myself lucky to practice the calling of teaching every day.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with youth and did so extensively as a girl guide leader. I love traveling and learning about new cultures, baking, reading, and singing.
