Bonjour/Hello ! My name is Elisa.
I grew up in Poitiers, a small town in the west of France. I enjoy listening to music, going for walks with my dog, seeing my friends, and traveling to see new places and cultures.
I studied journalism and worked in this field in France and Togo. I obtained a master’s degree in education and found my way as a home teacher, then as a schoolteacher.
During my last professional experience in the Paris area, I taught many allophone students in Early Years. I have adapted my pedagogy to value the various languages spoken by the children and their families while developing strategies for learning the language of schooling.
I feel fortunate to be able to use my skills at SISD, a school that offers a strong education and a quality school experience while valuing bilingualism.
