Having spent the last thirteen years in schools across the UAE, I am thrilled and proud to join the SISD community. I have been fortunate to work as a STEAM leader and head of science at international schools in Dubai. My teaching specialism is Chemistry and graduated with a master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry in 2007. My teaching philosophy is aligned with IB’s inquiry-based approach coupled with the incorporation of technology, maths, engineering, and art in my science lessons. I strongly subscribe to differentiated learning methodologies in my teaching, ensuring provision of equal opportunities for students of varying academic strengths and learning abilities. Having recently earned a master’s degree in Educational leadership and management from Middlesex University London, I am passionate to help students build their leadership skills through providing a safe environment and opportunities for engaging in reflective and experiential learning.
