Jarlath Glynn

Originally from Mayo, West of Ireland, I gained my PGCE in Primary Education at the University of Wales, Bangor. I have taught in two primary schools in London. This provided a wonderfully diverse experience, working with children with a variety of interests and needs, developing their love for learning (both academic and personal). In September 2015, I made the decision to move to Dubai which provided an exciting and rewarding opportunity to develop my professional practice and experience in an international setting. My motto is “Aspire to inspire” and I pride myself on developing a fun, enjoyable and exciting working environment as well as the relationships I foster with my pupils as well as providing engaging and purposeful learning.  It’s incredibly rewarding when you observe children striving to reach personal goals,  setting themselves their own high standards and expectations while creating their own class culture in the process.

I have an incredible passion and love for sport; particularly Gaelic Football and Rugby. This has followed on from my undergraduate degree in Sports Science and Physical Education BSC and my commitment to successful school teams and clubs both here in Dubai and previously in London and Ireland. I also traveling and reading!
