Bonjour tout le monde! My name is Julie.
I am from Draguignan, a city in the south of France. My dad is Italian and that is where my passion for languages comes from.
I studied English and Italian at university and I have been a school teacher for 8 years in France and 2 years in New Orleans (USA) in a French immersion school. Ever since I started my career as a teacher in 2011, I have been passionate in my commitment to sharing my language and culture.
I have always wanted to live and work in Dubai. The SISD, because of its uniqueness, gives an amazing opportunity to continue teaching in my native language while living in an exceptional multicultural context.
I love traveling and discovering new cultures. Amongst other things, I like running, reading, cooking and watching movies.
I am really excited to join the team at SISD and can’t wait to meet my new students!
