Being born in the GDR, I was fortunate enough to experience and live in different political systems. Carrying the “Fernweh” gene, I have been able to travel extensively throughout Europe and nurture my love for languages. During the last eight years, I worked with students from various cultural backgrounds and ages in GAL, ESL and Learning Support in all grades in PYP. In my experience, building a partnership with students rather than deciding top-down, ensures a positive and successful learning time for everybody.
I like spending my free time with my family, reading, traveling, enjoying the outdoors or doing sports; I am especially passionate about horseback riding and horse racing.
