Languages have always fascinated me, ever since I was a young girl. I began learning additional languages aged just six years of age and, with time, built out my portfolio of spoken and written language to the point where I stand today, as a fluent speaker, reader, and writer of 4 European languages (English, French, Spanish, and Italian) as well as Arabic.
In 2006, I opted to expand my horizons by joining the Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (KLYES) in the US. There, I was able to further engage with different cultures and experience life inside a district school in Missoula, Montana.
Following my degree in English Literature, Civilization, and Language, having moved to the UAE, I took on the post of Teacher of English in my first Dubai school. Since then I have taught in a range of educational environments and have realized, with every day that passes, that teaching is my true calling.
When I am not at school, I enjoy exercising, reading, experiencing ethnic cuisines, and when the temperature allows it, hiking and camping in the mountains of UAE.
