Maeve Harrison

PRIMARY TEACHER GRADE 3
MOTTO:

“The best learning outcomes occur as a result of relevant and purposeful learning.”

I come Kenagh, a small village in the midlands of Ireland. My mother was the manager of a Nursery and Preschool in my local town and it was through my time spent volunteering there that I discovered my passion for teaching children, and facilitating them as they begin to make sense of the world around them. I trained at the University of East London and completed my teaching placements in the city. After working two years in London,  I moved to the UAE where I have been working for the past four years. I am truly delighted to join the vibrant bilingual learning environment at Swiss International School and I hope that I can share my passion for purposeful learning while inspiring excellence in my students.
