I have had the pleasure of teaching in the UAE for the past 12 years within Early Years and Grades 4 and 5. I studied Police Foundations, Criminology and Criminal Justice with a focus on Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology. I had the opportunity to work as a teacher in South Korea and that is when I decided to change my career path and qualify to become a teacher and explore my passion of working with children. I am a warm and caring teacher who wants all children to be successful learners and I work to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging, and adaptive to the varied needs of my students.
I am always intrigued to discover interesting new facts about all the countries I visit and look for a new adventure whenever possible. Outside school, I love to be outdoors, walking my three rescue dogs Bessie, Jack and Izzy in the desert or near the sea, going camping and having a barbeque or scuba diving and exploring what lives in the ocean. I also enjoy attending different shows at Dubai Opera House. My favourite performances have been the Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cats and Ghost.
