I have a German and Finnish background, and I have lived and taught in the United States, New Zealand, Great Britain, Egypt, the UAE and Malaysia. My ambition is to support students in a way that allows them to bring out their creativity, and to be courageous to express themselves and to turn their ideas into reality. My lessons are set up in a way that they encourage children to find out their own strengths and passions. Students will experience that a lot of value can be created if we put our talents together like a jigsaw puzzle. During the learning process, I like to combine inspiration with motivation and exploration; arts, crafts and performing arts are an important part of this experience. I accompany the children to be independent and confident so they can find solutions for challenging situations in life and follow their individual paths. The international, multilingual learning environment of the SISD is very inspiring and fascinating. Personally, I like outdoor activities, swimming, and exploring nature, as well as culture and arts.
