LANGUAGE ACQUISITION COORDINATOR/ LANGUAGE ACQUISITION TEACHER (GERMAN)
MOTTO:

“Without language, one cannot talk to people and understand them; one cannot share their hopes and aspirations, grasp their history, appreciate their poetry, or savour their songs.” – Nelson Mandela

Being brought up in a rather small town in Austria near the Swiss and German border, I was fortunate to learn many foreign languages during my schooling which sparked my passion for languages and other cultures. After obtaining my Bachelor of Education in my home country, I pursued my dream job of teaching languages in France, England and Switzerland in an international environment. Alongside that, I followed my drive of studying the linguistics of my mother tongue by completing my Master of Arts in German as a Second Language.

I believe that understanding and speaking different languages plays a vital role in our modern world since it not only facilitates our integration into a new culture and allows us to develop sensitivity for its customs and traditions, it also shapes our identity and personal expression and our interaction with people from different countries.

My passion is to instill these experiences and my desire to learn new languages in others. I love the outdoor lifestyle, sports and traveling and I am also very delighted to become a part of the SISD team!
