My name is Niamh Guinan and I am an experienced and qualified Primary teacher. Over the last 4 years, I have taught in primary schools in Ireland and in the UAE. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Geography from Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. I then completed a Masters in Education at Hibernia College Dublin. I’ve always been passionate about the English language and completed my Thesis on teaching English to EAL students.
I strive to make Kindergarten the exciting foundation of primary education. My personal philosophy is to promote a curiosity for learning and instill an attitude of enjoyment and motivation to learn throughout school life. By providing a happy and engaging classroom, where all children lead their own learning, I believe each child can feel safe and become confident learners.
I feel really fortunate to now work in such an incredible school and I am looking forward to meeting all our Kindergarten families. What an exciting year we have ahead of us!
