Raised in a multilingual environment, I developed a love for languages. Yet, the languages themselves did not satisfy my curiosity; I fell in love with literature and was glad that I could share my interest with students in different countries either in the classroom as a French and English teacher, or as a Librarian. We lived in various parts of the world and our children acquired a truly international education through the International Baccalaureate Programme. In each country, we were blessed to learn and appreciate new cultures.
As a former teacher at a Swiss School in Bangkok, I also enjoyed the Swiss and German curricula.
As a new member of SISD, I am keen to develop a print and digital collection in support of the curriculum.
Critical evaluation is vital while doing research, and my aim is to assist the students in this endeavor.
When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, listening to classical music, but I also like sports such as skiing, swimming, and tennis.
