I spent most of my childhood in Germany and moved to the UK when I was 14. I have been living in the Middle East since 2017 and my experience has been incredible. My inspiration to become a teacher was my Maths teacher, a teacher – I can never forget! Maths was never my strength, however his unique teaching methods and ‘faith’ in me, not only helped me excel in Maths but also ignited a desire to become a teacher just like him. I wanted to become that teacher who NEVER gives up on her students and continues to develop them, so they can become independent learners. I believe in the theory of multiple intelligences, where every child has the potential to learn and our role as educators is to aid their learning journey. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a caring and reflective teacher who will constantly encourage my students to persist through challenges to build a growth mindset but most importantly, to be happy.
