PRIMARY GERMAN AS AN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE TEACHER
MOTTO:

Resiliency is something you do, more than something you have. You become highly resilient by continuously learning your best way of being yourself in your circumstance. @FOYA

I grew up in a small town in Germany and moved to a metropolitan city in England aged 11. Growing up in a multi-lingual household led me to develop a passion for languages and trying to understand the way in which knowing more than one language and experiencing more than one culture growing up, can benefit the development of a child.

Having briefly worked in Law after graduating from the University of Leeds, my passion for languages and working with young people ultimately led me back to University to complete my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in 2012.

I believe that, children learn best when they are given ownership of their learning and it is my aim to provide my students with the tools they need to become self – sufficient, life long learners
