Sarah is a Teacher Librarian with over 10 years of experience. She comes from sunny Florida, USA and has been living and teaching in the United Arab Emirates for six years. Libraries and literacy are her passion and she hopes to create a space where all feel welcome to learn, read, and explore. She loves connecting her students to their new favorite book. In addition, she hopes to create a library space that reaches the school community’s creative needs. The library can offer a safe space for exploration, self development, and collaboration. Outside of school, when she is not reading, Sarah is very active. She has a strong yoga practice and loves all water sports.
