Having been raised in a family almost entirely involved in education, I first was attracted by fundamental research in Biology, in order to contribute to the discovering of new knowledge. I acquired two masters, and a Doctorate in plant cell and molecular biology in Toulouse, France. I then worked as a researcher/teacher in three places in three countries (UCLA in Los Angeles, CA, USA, Toulouse in France, and Neuchatel in Switzerland). I then decided to totally dedicate myself to teaching: I was visiting professor in a Biotechnology University, an AS level Biology teacher, both in Indonesia, then Head of Sciences of a leading tutoring center in Hong Kong.
I love literature (French and from all over the world), languages and learning about various cultures, especially through novels, music and other works of art. As a member of the SISD teaching team, I will ensure each student is cared for, taught according to his/her needs and abilities, as well as encouraged to explore the world with an open mind.
