KG1 LEARNING COORDINATOR / EARLY YEARS TEACHER KG1
MOTTO:

But what if I fall? Oh my darling but what if you fly?

Hello! My name is Charlotte, I’m originally from Wales, but I’ve lived in Australia and here in the UAE. I have specialised in Early Years Education and have a passion for enquiry based learning. I have been teaching for the past 18 years, 8 years in the UK where I was a nursery school manager, and 10 years here in the UAE where I was EYFS lead, in the northern emirate, Ras Al Khaimah. Here I gained my NPQML and PGCEI. My experience has taught me the importance of an exceptionally strong early years education to build every child’s academic and social foundations and to foster their love of learning. I am honoured to be part of the culture and diversity that comes with living and teaching in the UAE.

I live here with my two daughters and we have a very mischievous little dog called Coco who enjoys paddle boarding with us on the weekends. Moving to Dubai is a big change from the small city of RAK, but a very exciting one with that. SISD stands out to me and I admire the unique and diverse mix of cultures and languages. I am incredibly excited to be joining the founding team of such an esteemed school.
