MOTTO:

The ultimate goal of a teacher should be to teach a student the skills so they can teach themselves.

I have always had an innate interest in Science and the world around me. This passion lead me to study Marine Biology/Zoology B.Sc. and a Marine Environmental Protection M.Sc at Bangor University. With an increasing desire to share my passion and knowledge of Science I went on to complete a PGCE in Secondary Science at Newman University Birmingham. After teaching for three years in the United Kingdom I moved to the Dubai in order to broaden horizons and teach in a diverse international setting. I have now been teaching in the UAE for over 7 years and thoroughly enjoy living an working in what I believe to be one of the greatest cities in the world.

Outside of teaching, I have a keen interest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which I have been practising for 5 years and health and fitness. In addition to this I have a great passion for nature conservation. This has led me to participate in conservation projects around the world including, Thailand, South Africa and Kenya.
