Why you should participate in the 30×30 challenge

YES, YES, YES…it’s THAT time of year again, the 30 days of the year when we all swap the T.V. for trainers to get active!

Dubai 30×30 Fitness Challenge is an annual celebration of fitness and wellness. Now, in its sixth year, Dubai Fitness Challenge puts forward a simple goal: complete 30 minutes of activity each day for 30 days. The aim is to inspire EVERYONE to be more active and seek healthy lifestyles. With a month-long calendar of free workouts, exciting fitness events and wellness entertainment across the city, there’s plenty of inspiration to keep moving.

 

What are we doing at SISD for the 30×30 challenge?

Here at school, we have a range of activities to get the hearts pumping, from fitness sessions to football and gym to jogging there is something for every sporting level, so don’t be shy and get involved in this fantastic initiative.

Why get involved in the 30×30 challenge?

Participation in regular physical activity has been proven time and time again to have a positive impact on a range of areas.

For example, exercise will support the following:

  • Increased energy
  • Reduced depressive feelings
  • Reduced anxiety and stress levels
  • Increased self-esteem
