Music plays an integral part here at SISD. Our students develop their musical ability and skills from PYP to DP focusing on performance and theory. Students are actively encouraged to pursue their active interest in music and contribute to the many group and solo activities which are available in our thriving department. Enhancing the department’s tuition we offer extra curricula lessons from a wide range of ensemble activities which are open to all students of any age. 

Performance is at the heart of what we do and students have many opportunities to express themselves. ‘Tuneful Tuesdays’ is our weekly performances across both schools and students develop their live performance skills to our community. The Secondary music department also hosts ‘Live Lounges’ on our rooftop with a stunning backdrop of downtown Dubai. Working with Swissotel, our students also have the opportunity to perform for the public on a regular basis.
