LANGUAGE ACQUISITION TEACHER (FRENCH)
MOTTO:

“He who knows no foreign languages knows nothing of his own” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Born and raised in Lebanon, a francophone country, my love for the French Language emerged from my youngest age.

I earned my Teaching License then my Master’s degree in French Literature from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. Since 2008, I have been teaching French as a Foreign Language for Secondary and IBDP students at a well-known international school in Lebanon and in 2014, I could also experience giving courses for undergraduate students for 4 years. Throughout my career, I have learned to use a variety of teaching methods to support, motivate and inspire students to do their best.

Moreover, I have taken a leadership role as Coordinator of French Language programme under the IB curriculum, through which I have demonstrated my ability as a team member and formed great relationships with my co-workers.

In 2010, I joined the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as an IBDP French B Examiner, and in 2021, I was appointed as Team Leader.

I have a true passion for helping each student’s progress in all areas of their development. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. I also enjoy reading, dancing, cooking, music, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Looking for new challenges and adventures, I decided to expand my knowledge and skills in IB teaching worldwide and move to Dubai. Reading the vision and the mission of the SISD kept me convinced that joining this renowned school will definitely meet my expectations.
