I am a South African teacher who grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa where I graduated with a degree in Foundation Phase Education. Throughout my teaching career I have had the opportunity to teach children from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds, which has given me the opportunity to improve my teaching style and create a differentiated environment more conducive for growth.
I have always had a passion for teaching. My biggest motivation for becoming a teacher was due to seeing how a teacher has an impact on not only what we know, but also how we feel and see ourselves.
I have a strong passion for anything creative and I enjoy painting and drawing in my free time. I also love to swim and play netball.
I am very excited to begin my journey at SISD and I look forward to starting the year!
