Lisa is an experienced Senior Leader, born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Lisa was awarded her Bachelor of Education K-12 from Victoria, Australia and the National Professional Qualification of Headship from London, England. Having lived in Dubai for 12 years, Lisa has held a number of Senior Leadership roles, from Head of Teaching and Learning across 11 schools, to Principal of The Children’s Garden Group – a bilingual Early Years setting, as well as Head of School Primary and Secondary, and Head of Whole School Improvement. During her career, Lisa has driven schools to improve outcomes, achieve CIS/NEASC/IB accreditation and improve overall KHDA ratings in a variety of settings and contexts. Lisa works with NEASC and CIS on accreditations in Europe and the Middle East, as well as facilitating middle and senior leadership training for aspiring leaders in the UAE. Lisa’s passion is, first and foremost, being an educator. She believes that her role in life is to make a difference in the lives of children through education. In recent years, Lisa has travelled the world researching approaches to bilingualism, positive education, and well-being. She believes that ensuring the well-being of all is an essential part of her role as a leader.
